can i have my raw files?

The answer is no. All of the magic that goes into beautiful photography comes from the edit. The edit is also what gives us as photographers our own branding, unique mood and feel to our work. Find a photographer that when you view their website you are awed, and trust them to sprinkle that fairy dust on your images too. 

how long does a couple session last?

I tell my couples not to prep for a specific amount of time. When I outline my standard package, I start at 1.5 hours, but I will go until I can confidently deliver you a whole, beautiful session that uniquely represents you as a couple

CAN I BRING SOMEONE ALONG TO MY SESSION?

 I would not recommend this. I like my couples to interact how they would naturally by themselves at home; entangled limbs, eskimo kisses and forehead touches. This gets awkward to do with mom or a friend watching from the sidelines, so I wouldn't recommend bringing someone.

how long does it take to RECEIVE my images?

 I deliver weddings 10 weeks after the wedding, same timeline for wedding videography. For couples sessions, images are back by 4 weeks.

how many images do i get back?

 My wedding packages start at 500 images, and my couples sessions and engagement packages include 100 images. 

how many weddings do you do a year?

I photograph about 12-15 weddings a year. I am also a full time teacher, Because of this, I want to make sure that I am keeping the number of weddings I am photographing to a reasonable number so that I can invest my whole heart into each couple!

can you photoshop us?

Yes I can, but I wont significantly alter the way you look. I am an advocate for self love and body positivity. I usually do some minor work such as removing small blemishes, scrapes or bruises, If there is anything in particular you are self cautious about let me know and I will note that when posing you. 

what does signing a contract entail?

In all honesty a contract is just a bunch of scary, "what if's." If you're hesitant about what's in there, thats okay and normal. This is why I send my couples a contract proposal before signing. You can look it over, we will Facetime and you can ask me any questions you're having. 

can i do a payment plan?

Absolutely. I work through a payment service called Honeybook, where we can set up a customized payment plan. When we customize a payment plan, I do still require a 25% non refundable deposit to reserve your wedding date. The rest isn't due until 1 month before the wedding date. I understand that breaking this up into monthly, or bi-monthly payments makes it easier on couples and will absolutely work with you on that!
